Everything attorneys need to know about earning, claiming, and reporting CLE credit for our AI hiring compliance courses.

A timestamped PDF certificate with a unique cert ID is generated automatically and stored in your dashboard.

Check your state's category
Confirm whether your state bar requires submission as ethics, technology, or general CLE — see the table below.

Submit per your state's rules
Self-reported states accept the certificate directly via the bar's CLE portal. Pre-approved states already have the course on file under our provider record.

Frequently asked questions
How do I buy seats in bulk for my team?
Bulk seats are purchased on the individual course page. Open any course in the Academy catalog and click the Buy team seatsbutton next to the regular enrollment button. You'll choose your seat count, pay once, then assign seats to teammates from your Bulk Purchases dashboard — each invitee gets a redemption link that grants them course access. Volume discounts apply automatically: 5% off for 5–9 seats, 10% off for 10–24 seats, and 15% off for 25+ seats. For enterprise licensing, custom branding, or SSO/LMS integrations, email frank@aivalidationlab.com.
Are FairHire Academy CLE courses pre-approved or self-reported?
Both — depending on the state. We hold pre-approval status in several jurisdictions; in others attorneys self-report the course using the certificate of completion we issue. The course detail page lists each state where the course is currently approved.
How many CLE credits does each course earn?
Most courses are approved for 1.0 CLE credit hour, calibrated to the time required to complete the lessons and pass the quiz. Some longer courses qualify for additional credit — see the individual course page.
Does the credit count toward ethics, technology, or general CLE requirements?
Our courses are most commonly accepted as ethics or technology credit, but state rules differ. Always verify against your state bar's CLE category list before claiming.
How long after I finish do I have to claim the credit?
Most state bars allow you to claim CLE credit during the compliance period in which you completed it. Your certificate is dated, so the claim window starts from that date. Save the PDF — you may need to provide it during a random audit even years later.
What if my state isn't listed?
You can still take the course for the substantive learning value, and many bars accept self-reported out-of-state courses on a reciprocal basis. If you'd like us to apply for accreditation in your state, email frank@aivalidationlab.com — we add new jurisdictions based on demand.
Can I get a refund if my state bar doesn't accept the credit?
Yes. If you complete a course in good faith and your state bar declines the credit despite the course being listed as approved in that state, contact us within 60 days for a full refund.
Are these courses appropriate for non-attorneys?
Absolutely. The same materials are used by HR leaders, talent acquisition managers, and procurement teams — anyone evaluating or operating AI hiring systems. The CLE accreditation is a professional development bonus, not a prerequisite.
